Zombieland Revie: it's Hilarious
October 2nd 2009 22:52
Just when you think that the British are the only creative masterminds that can create good comedy horror movies anymore than you need to see this movie. Zombieland is the movie that defies these odds. It really shouldn't even be called a horror movie except for the fact that it has Zombies in it. The movie is a gorey comedy at it's finest. I laughed so hard I nearly threw up while watching this movie. The movie had plenty of gore, but it never made me feel sick at all, it was just the humor that did. The film stars Jesse as Columbus from Ohio who hilariously follows his own set of rules in order to survive Zombieland. these rules flash onscreen and follow the exact moment of the movie when it occurs which is hilarious every time. Woody Harrellson is the hunter named Tennessee, who has just lost two loved ones and he has nothing left to lose except kill zombies. He is also on a quest to find a good twinkie. yes, I'm completely serious his only goal left is to find a twinkie.
When Tallahassee and Columbus go on a journey of survival they run into two sisters named Little Rock(Abigail Breslin), and Wichita(Emma stone looking hotter than ever without even trying). The two sisters con them and take their ride before they all end up teaming up together to find anyplace that is unpopulated with zombies in an amusement park.
This film had heart, tons of humor and gore. It was America's Shaun of the dead and it was actually brilliant. Use your money to see this movie. It even has the good old cameo trick with Amer Heard and bill Murray in a hilarious cameo as himself. I would strongly recommend everyone see this film just for the story and Woody as Tallahassee. Why woody isn't in any awesome movies these days is beyond me because the man is Hilarious. he deserves at least a Golden Globe for Comedy. Jesse Eisenberg had better comedy chemistry and drama with Emma stone than he did with kristen Stewart in Adventureland and hopefully we can see more of these two in other movies. This is the movie of the week. Actually every movie has been good this week.

The trailer for this made me laugh and I totally dig Woody. he has a great presence and an entertaining delivery swagger/drawl thing.
If the script is decent it should really amuse.
Your review gives me a little expectation.
