I hate remakes mainly because they take original concepts and completely turn them into products worse than we could've ever imagined. They're like evil objects that don't belong in our world like bad sequels or the existence of Hannah Montana. They are hollywood's slap in the face to all directors and writers who create beloved material. Hollywood just wants a buck and believes only old original movies are their zits on their reputation of being the biggest money makers in the world. So what does Hollywood do? they remake them into their own shallow and stupid visions.
This is why I hate remakes. they aren't good. they're just ruining what was once original and mesmerizing. I hate the fact that Rec was made in 2008 and then bastardized by Hollywood into Quarantine and then released after Quarantine in the united States so that Quarantine would look more original. Hollywood relishes in commercialism and despises true art which is why artists today starve after they attend a California University or any university for that matter.
I'm sick of Hollywood trashing all go ideas just to make a simple buck and make Hollywood look like even bigger dicks than ENRON. Well hopefully, one day Hollywood will realize that eventually guys like Micheal Bay can't immediately generate big income with his craptacualr remakes and people will stop falling for such terrible films like Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.
