Dunk Films - by Christopher Waldeck

Whiteout review

September 12th 2009 21:02
I don't think she's supposed to look like James Bond, but I guess the studio assumed it would work because she's British.

Well it appears that Kate beckinsale has been in another terrible movie. well that's not a surprise since her roles always appear to be the same anyway. She's always the female lead and a wicked action hero who looks hot and now apparently gets in teasing shower scenes to promote films. Thanks to the direction of Dominic Sena it's the same result a bad comic movie with so much potential that got screwed by bad marketing and even worse of a movie.

Kate is a beauty, but this film is messy.

The film is about a U.S. Marshall played by Kate Beckinsale who travels to Antarctica in order to catch a serial killer and escape before she and the rest of the crew are stuck their for eight months. it's even made worse by trying to look like a horror film that's anything, but horror once again thanks to Dominic sena. Let's see who is Dominic sena anyway, oh yeah he's a guy who made the other god awful action movie starring Nicholas cage(what a surprise), known as Gone in Sixty seconds.

Has the studio not realized that she's not James Bond?

Sure the film looks nice with the beautiful looking Antarctic back round and the antarctic base hidden in the snow, plus the awesome snowstorm effects except this film never takes off from being more than just plain average and occasionally really bad in every way and every form. I was hoping the trailer wouldn't be as good as the movie, but sadly it was better.

I know I would try to escape this movie too if I could.

Way too go Hollywood on screwing yet another comic book movie, maybe next time hire a director who can actually make an adaptation that is good and not Gone in Sixty seconds. this film sucks and I was really hoping that it wouldn't, even the killer can be revealed in the first fifteen minutes without the reveal of a suspicious yet purely innocent one, but of course the director truly believes we're idiots and tries to lead us in a different direction.

Unbelievable they still believe she's James Bond.

Someone please give this comic book a better movie and give Kate Beckinsale a good movie for once.

Finally a good poster!

Review D

I've got the best cure for this movie. this is the best way to make this movie better.....
