Universal set to reboot Anne Rice's the Vampire chronicles

Yes, we are finally going to see the return of Anne Rice and some real vampires. I know Stephanie Meyers thinks that she can write about vampires because her last name is Meyers, but it's not true. So now Universal has to reboot Anne rice in order to beat her. This is the same chronicles that were made into Interview with a Vampire, and now that is going to continue.
I'm sure horror fans are anxious and nervous about what might happen to this beloved series. However, we'll soon find out because they're planning it out right now so get excited. Let's hope this is as good as Interview with a Vampire if they hire Neil Jordan to direct it again. He actually knew what he was doing. it also means the vampire, Lestat is returning to theaters.
Let;s hope this is better than other novel adaptations and reimaginings especially after Queen of the Damned. That was a disaster, I don't know why people called that a great movie. It was dreck. At least Stuart Townsed still has an inch of okay reputation left unlike the director.
Let's hope that Universal doesn't try to repeat GI Joe again. all effects and no story line equal disaster to every intelligent moviegoer on the planet.
Oh, and i'll save the best for last. Robert Downey jr. is in talks for playing Lestat the vampire.
