Transformers 2 review

I was so angry at how widely panned this film was. The first Transformers was great with its cutting edge effects, charm and humor. This film was just a modern day corn fest that completely pissed on what hope I had for this sequel.
The teaser trailer had me pumped. I waited and waited for this movie and even watched custom made youtube music videos for Transformers from every artist more specifically Linkin Park. Then i used my free ticket to the Regal to watch the movie at the Midnight showing despite ignoring what the preview critics had said about it. They gave the first one lukewarm reviews as well.
then the film started and I heard every arrogant and pea brained teenager laughing at every unnecessary pot joke, and lose their breath every time Megan fox popped up on screen for one minute which was probably the only object in the film that Micheal bay could focus on for over a minute before kicking into A.D.D. mode and swishing the camera around every second.
This orgy of nonsense and headache inducing loud noise completely buried the storyline if there was one to begin with. This combined with the orgy of nonsense shouted out by teenagers at the screen. Every kid would shot out "wow look at that car!"," I did that hottie in my English class", and just stared bug eyed at the screen like puppets and laughed along with the stereotypical humor that lost all of its amusement after five minutes.
This is why Micheal bay ticks me off. He starts off with something good and then when he has to do a sequel he just blows stuff up, adds nice looking women, and aims the humor at every class clown and sells it for millions. He's already signed on with Speilberg to do number 3 because God knows producers look at Profit over quality nowadays. This is a shame considering where Speilberg used to be and how far he has fallen with his movies.
Micheal bay is the object of what is wrong with Hollywood. I pray that more people realize just how garbage this film was except for john Leguizamo and a few innovative robot fights, but the rest of it was simply nonsense and very repetitive, which basically means it was directed at the average teenager.
My synopsis is see it because you'll be too brainwashed to tell the difference between a good movie and bad movie, and because its a summer blockbuster. Hopefully, July has a better movie month than this.
