The Ugly Truth review

Here's my review of one of the worst films this year. Unless a few independent films fare far worse I'm not sure that they can even get worse than this stinker. We have two overrated and talented stars, Gerard Butler, and Katherine Heigl in a date movie likely to hypnotize chicks with the word date and guys will go expecting raunchy sexual content and Gerard Butler simply because of 300. I will admit Katherine Heigl is incredibly attractive, but after seeing her in Knocked Up she deserves far better than this. you'd think this role would be perfect when you compare it to a Grey's anatomy episode that gets much higher reviews when it just talks about the same material and that is sex and different sexual organs. the humor was insulting to men and women and predictable. You can sum up the entire film just by watching the trailer and already know how the movie will end. I like how after the box office report the studio or producer said "We'll take the fans over the critics any day." That's funnier than an episode of Comedy Central or it's other name Fox News. It's funny how when a movie is successful with money that the producer's will defend it yet when it flops the studio brings up every excuse and rumor about crisis on set. No wonder no studio ever defends their horror remakes.
The bottom line is people will see it for the two stars and because in a recession the romantic comedy is the hottest form of entertainment. It's just as bad as the low intellect of the average Disney Channel and Twilight fan or as i like to call them "Sheep." I'm not even going to bother getting into a detailed structure over the plot because you can sum it up just by watching the trailer.
