Terminator 4 on the Horizon
April 25th 2008 06:11
Yes, this is not a dream. Arguably the biggest action brand ever The Terminator is suiting up to add its fourth film to the empire. The title of the film will be Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins and is currently in the preproduction stage. It is set to star Christian Bale in the title role as John Conner, Sam Worthington and Anton Yelchin are the only other two actors cast. Rumoured to be cast are Josh Brolin from No Country for Old Men as the Terminator and Moon Bloodgood from The Pathfinder. It is to be directed by Joseph McGinty Nichol (McG) who has directed Charlies Angels and We Are Marshall, the screenplay written by John D. Brancato, Michael Ferris, and David C. Wilson who all co-wrote Cat Woman and Terminator 3: The Rise of the Machines. The plot of the film is a group of survivors that struggle to stop the machines from wiping out the human race after Skynet destroys much of humanity with a nuclear holocaust. With the previous three films making over a combined one billion dollars at the box office, the fourth film will have a bigger budget then all three of its predecessors with 185 million, but will no Schwarzenegger have a massive affect? Terminator 4 is set to be release in the US on the 22nd of May, 2009.
