someone please stop the 3D.

This is ridiculous nearly every movie is being advertised in 3D. All this means is that most movies will cost extra for some cheap glasses. Sure 3D maybe pretty cool for some people, but it's getting more bland than the last two Saw movies. Hopefully Avatar changes my mind, but so far no other movie has except for My Bloody Valentine and Coraline. The Final destination was just pure garbage with it's cheap CGI. Well i guess it needed some gimmick to beat Halloween 2 and Inglorious Basterds.

Anyway if anyone is getting really tired of 3D too quickly leave me your thoughts because they actually mean something to me unlike most studio producers.

Greed & Vanity

I think the movie studios are fishing for something to actually draw people into to the theaters.

With big screen tv's, bluray players and home theater systems, so many people would rather wait for blueray, dvd, or cable to see movies in their own homes.

While you can't beat the movie going experience for the summer blockbusters, I'm much rather stay home to watch everything else, in whatever state of dress or undress I happen to be in.

I think the movie stuidios are on to this trend, hence all the 3-d movies.
