Sam Raimi and Tobey Macguire leave Spiderman 4.

It appears that the studio has changed creative differences again and Raimi and Tobey Macguire will not be returning for Spiderman 4. This is really unfortunate as this is sounding to sound more and more like Dragonball Evolution. As much as most of us disliked what happened with Spiderman 3, you'll be even more disgusted with this new direction.
Apparently it's going to return Peter Parker back to his high school days and focus on those adventures. Well what a great way to completely change and turn a good direction of Spiderman on it's ass. They better have a damn good screenwriter and replacement for Spiderman in order to save this franchise. This is absolute garbage when studios have to turn back time to high school era and make the series ultra teen. I hope that Spiderman doesn't enter Twilight territory and every villian sparkles.
I honestl;y didn't mind Raimi directing the series because most of it actually worked, and it was entertaining. You could also tell that the original Spiderman team was highly passionate about the series. You knew that they had read the stories and wanted to impress the fans as well as pay tribute to their favorite super hero. Now a new team could end up just being a bunch of action junkies, who only watch MTV, and try to ultra teen and sleaze up the series. If I'm getting into Michael Bay territory then you should be real scared for high school Spidey right now.
Hopefully, Raimi and Macguire will change their minds and come to back to save this project. It's not looking so hot for Spiderman right now. Let's all pray that this new direction doesn't completely mess up all the credibility that Sam Raimi had given the series in the movies. well there is some good news. Maybe we'll see Evil Dead 4 after all.
Leave me your thoughts.
