Rob zombie remaking the Blob.

Was Halloween that good that producer's really felt that Rob has to make another remake. this time he's remaking the blob. Again this film is being remade and while I thought the first remake was alright, but far from classic, it wasn't nearly as successful as it should've been and now Rob zombie is going to direct it. I guess it's more F-Words, rednecks and terrible dialogue plus Sheri moon zombie again. Seriously, wasn't he supposed to do some movie called T-Rex. I mean Rob can direct original films, he proven that despite negative reviews, does he really have to direct another another remake.
Why Does it have to be the Blo. oh and get this Rob zombie doesn't want to make the blob a jello looking red thing. Then how is it supposed to be a blob? Reportedly they're giving him a 30 million dollar budget you know the same as District 9 and ten million more than Cloverfield to make this movie.
All I have to say is Rob go back to directing original movies especially with all of the money you made off the Halloween remake. just leave the remakes alone and start your own stuff. At least you know your movies will never be remade.

Film & TV on DVD
Watching his halloween however was like watching a horror classic have its teeth removed and replaced with cliched dentures.
I can't belive he would want to remake The Blob which by its design is meant to be comedic, not horrific...and if the Blob isn't going to be Jello then why not just make an original film not called "the Blob."?

What makes you so sure Zombie's original movies won't be remade? Everything will be plundered in the future.

Then again low rated films should be remade more than good ones.

I mean, if you forget the fact that he's butchering the storyline, the movie is ok. Far from perfect, sure, but I have seen much worse.
King Kong. I liked Jackson's take on it though.
