A huge reason as to why I haven't reviewed hardly an films is mainly due to the fact that this year has been one of the worst years for movies. I can't name any films that I would really say could match up to par with last year, and last year had All About Steve! This year was nothing but disappointing remakes, sequels that failed to live up to the hype, and films that could have been really good, but failed miserably.
The best films so far is Toy Story 3 by far. Christopher Nolan's Inception was a breath of originality by far. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was the best foreign language film thus far, and The Ghost Writer is a great return for Polanski.
Other than these films I haven't seen any truly great films this year except for The Kids are alright. Finally Julianne Moore in a great film again.
