Post Grad fails miserably

Seriously, for a film that had almost no hype and looked like pure cliche couldn't get any more cliche than this movie. I have been waiting for a film to satirize finding a job after college and so far nobody has stepped up to the plate with a good movie except for Adventureland, but that was actually a good movie. This movie was just a desperate attempt at a buck and starring Alexis Bledel who must have desperately needed this part or the money in order to accept this role.
The film is about a graduate from college who tries to find a job, but she can't and as a result she moves back in with her parents and finds love along the way. Ohhh how cliche. Now she must find a job fast in order to change her life around.
Well this film was bound to fail from the beginning both with critics and audiences. Guess what it did, I'm so good a predicting this I'm like a fortune teller. This film could have been intelligent and at least okay, but sadly it's just a sad attempt a laughs and trying hard not to be cliche. This film is at least better than The Ugly Truth, but it shocks me to know that this movie could make the top ten at the box office while a better teen movie like Bandslam couldn't. bandslam was much better than this and everyone should see Bandslam just to know how unappreciated the movie is. I'm not a teen movie fan, but the hypocrisy of paying audiences just amazes me. At least they were smart to mostly ignore this movie.
It saddens me when a film doesn't try anything new or original, and just plays off tired jokes and plots. at least Bandslam didn't increase in sales just because of another Vanessa Hudgens nude photo scandal, so our audiences look like they still have dignity.
