New release dates

Whether it's lousy release dates or more remake news I am on the case. It appears there will be two upcoming horror movies changed when it comes to release dates. The films are Zombieland and Shutter Island. Zombie land getting pushed to an earlier release date is good and all, but I'm much more pissed about shutter island being pushed back to February 2010. we'll also have another remake of Silk, the japanese Thai horror film.
I'm a bit disappointed, but at least it's not being delayed until 2011. Shutter island will be good, because I don't think any film made by Martin Scorsese can fail at all. I mean the guy has tried every genre except for really a true horror film except for Cape fear, but that was more of a thriller however it was a good remake and that still proves my point that Scorsese can make any movie good. Since when has anyone made an amazing remake except for him and Peter Jackson.
Zombieland looks hilarious and gory like it should be plus I like the cast. I don't mind this being released a bit earlier. If this is good then Woody Harrelson will be in many more movies which is a great thing as long as it's not semi Pro again.
In more news of America remaking more foreign movies for cash over creativity we have Thai's Silk being remade. I don't even have to wait to see how this one ends up in fact I'm less excited than I am after watching the trailer for Whiteout, with kate Beckinsale.
