Dunk Films - by Christopher Waldeck

Love happens review

September 20th 2009 19:20
This is a case of a film where it features two big movie stars yet it is riddled with cliches and mushed together in order to become a romantic comedy in cliche hollywood fashion. This film was nothing, but a way to showcase Jennifer Aniston and give her another romantic comedy. it could have worked if it had a better script, but sadly this film is too cliche for even Aniston. Aaron Eackhart was in this film as well sadly, but even he couldn't save this damn movie.

Here's just an example of what I mean. Take the now bland and super soft romantic comedy style that you see in every romantic movie nowadays without trying to play it as a comedy, but just appeal to the romance desiring love lost movie fans of the world. This film offered nothing new or inventive, but new ways to invent bland cliches and terrible dialogue with a popular actress and actor who have no chemistry at all together. You do all of this and you get love happens, unfortunately everything, but love happens to me from this film. It's one of the worst excuses of a cheap money grabbing romance movie than All About Steve. How in the World did this do better than Jennifer's Body. It didn't even advertise as much as Jennifer's Body yet still more people went to see this over Jennifer's Body. that doesn't make any sense.

It seems most audiences saw the best films this week, but i just can't believe how successful this film was over Jennifer's Body. This film should refund all of it's audience members who actually spent money on it. i'll give it credit for being slightly better than All about steve, but sadly that's not saying much because of how bad this film was. It didn't even try to be good, just the same bland mushy cliche romance that has been screwing quality romance movies for years.

I honestly beg for more people to see Jennifer's Body over this money scheme. The movie may not be good, but it deserves more box office money than Love Happens that;s for sure.
