Legion is god awful! Here's my review of this horrible film.

When you see a trailer that was as well crafted as Legion's was, it's very hard to doubt the quality of the film. It looked like it could be an epic religious action horror thriller with some decent stars, and an overall fun movie. Then you see the movie and you realize that this film suffered as much as GI Joe from a decent budget with a horrible script. I was ashamed by the crappy quality of this film.
Let me start with the script. How in the hell did the actors keep a straight face when they were reading this dialogue. They gave the angel Michael some decent dialogue, but everyone else had lame monologues throughout the film. Yes I'm serious, they go from shootout to slow 20 minutes of nothing but monologues that should have been edited and screened better instead of just shoved before and after every action scene. Most of the monologues had no feeling or true backstory so they literally did nothing for the film. I'll give Tyrese Gibson credit for putting up with some of the terrible and stereotypical dialogue he had to read. His opening dialogue for a movie was "When I was a Shawty,". Yes that's how lame the dialogue was for this film.
The worst part was that it wasn't fun and slightly humiliating because the director wanted the actors to take this film so seriously. This film had nothing in it that could be taken seriously especially with such awful dialogue. the plot had an ending that completely made the film feel pointless. I would like to honestly see anybody say that this film was good because it had no redeeming qualities except for one good fight sequence and some laughably over the top shoot outs that looked as realistic in comparison to Spring Break Shark Attack.
Hopefully this movie teaches sony a lesson that when they make a horror film than they need to get a good script for the director even if he came up with the idea and wanted to write it.
