Christopher WaldeckHeather Graham: an Underrated actress

This is my opinion of why I think heather graham is underrated as an actress if nobody could tell from the post headliner.
In my review for the Hangover I mentioned that it was great that Heather Graham was back in a mainstream motion picture that actually went to theaters. In my opinion she deserves better roles so she can truly showcase her acting abilities. Her performance in the hangover was a brief, but good comedic performance that added more comic relief to the movie which in itself actually feels like a thriller more than a comedy making it a unique comedy.
Heather graham has been starring in many independent and straight to DVd films and I find that very unfortunate when this is an actress who performs well in nearly every movie she's in. Her biggest film had to be Boogie Nights where she played the roller girl and she was very convincing in that performance as was every other actress. She seemed like she belonged right in the same league as Julianne Moore.
However, as her career continued she was cast in films that focused mainly on her looks and had her appear fully nude and in explicit sexual scenes which gave her a reputation as an actress only known for going nude, and that was the focus of her performances and that was an absolute shame considering that she deserves far better roles. Sure she flashes the camera in The Hangover, but at least she was credible in her role because the script worked and it was a good movie. In her other risque films that scripts were often plodding like Killing Me Softly.
Hopefully, after this movie more critics and studios give her a chance to star in more mainstream films so she can give a good performance, and star in roles with more wide recognition.
However ironically for heather graham, getting hungover was the best thing that could've happened to her career.
