Halloween 4 The Return of Michael Myers.

This was the apology movie and the movie that needed it's name to let the audience know that myers is actually in this movie. Well it was an improvement over number three, despite feeling a little awkward without Jaime Lee Curtis as everyone's favorite scream queen Laurie Strode. The story seemed a bit messed up and ridiculous in some parts, but at least it felt suspenseful in some parts.
It changes the story and instead the victim is jaime, a niece of michael myers who is now being stalked by our favorite slasher. Well Danielle Harriss played this part well and at least the story was new and fresh, the only problem was that it was just another slasher film just a better acted, and interesting one. Dr. Loomis is also here just badly burned from the hospital explosion, which is the biggest possible plot hole because how in the hell couold anyone survive that. Well anyway michael myers breaks out of a coma and goes on a killing spree in search of Jaime. The film ends in one of the most ridiculous shootouts in movie history, but at least it's entertaining.
This film was more of a reboot for the series in an attempt to revive it and continue the franchise. It did that, but lacked what the first movie had and that was originality and sadly this film was just a slasher no matter how much they tried to change it. However, it was a better than average slasher. It wasn't too bad at all.
