Halloween 3 Season of the Witch review

We have the film that pissed everyone off because of the abscence of our favorite serial slasher known as Michael Myers. The film really didn't deserve as much criticism as it got, if you remember that John Carpenter was trying to go in a different direction with this movie, and go in a completely different story as well about supernatural events that happen on Halloween.
The film stars Trace Atkins as a doctor who witnesses a man murder a patient after trying to steal a mask from a secret plant that's trying to sell the masks that are really lethal. He teams up with the victim's wife Annie in order to solve the case. They fight off androids in order to stop the manufacturing plant and end the chaos. That's probably the simplest way that I can explain this film.
This film was actually pretty good in atmospheric horror and creativity when you think about it, there's only one problem. I have no idea what's going on! It's completely over the top, but with some great gore scenes except the plot and story could've been betetr and not in the Michael Bay sense.
Overall this film is hated mainly because it was a different direction of the halloween series and unfortunately people were more confused than thrilled or satisfied. As a film on its own it's alright, but as a follow up to Halloween it lacks severely.
