Franchises that need to end in my opinion

there are many franchises like Mcdonald's, Burger king and taco bell that you eat from and get tired of eventually because they're simply there to serve you formerly cheap fast food. Well the franchise goes the same way for movies except for the fact that some franchises won't be alive forever and they decided that they'll try to reap every dollar and penny from their beloved fans so that they can live despite being years past their prime.
Here are some of the franchises that need to go. Some will surprise you, but others won't.
Aliens vs. predator. A cool concept that was trashed by three directors. paul W.S. Anderson screwed the first one with the fans and the critics. The second one was even worse when we had the Brothers Strause completely ruin a good follow up story and R rating by making the film so dark that we couldn't see any of the violence. This just proves my point that music video and effects directors will murder every good franchise. The first one was like a stale bag of buttery popcorn that was at least interesting. the second movie was just so inanely preposterous that it wrecked any chance of it being a good movie, despite trying to hint towards a sequel which still couldn't get the movie over or make the brothers Strause look any less douchier.
Saw. How many movies can you make of this series. Well with the sick fantasies over torture according to producers this series will never die. I would have been glad if the series never died like Twin Peaks because at least david lynch made it smart entertainment and you wanted to keep seeing it. The Saw series you only want to see it end. The twist at the end of the movie is pointless because everybody knows that the villain will win and good will always prevail. Good choice would be for producers to pull the plug on Saw and make up for what they shouldn't have done with Twin Peaks.
Halloween(remake franchise). hopefully this is the last extreme vision of a once respected franchise. Rob Zombie murdered this series and the worst part about it is that new fans to the genre don't even realize how great the old series was.
The Grudge. After the first one all hope went down hill will crappy acting and pointless scares without any good story line. The Grudge 3 was only slightly more disturbing than the second with an r rating, but still it couldn't save this American remake series even with a wasted performance by Shawnee Smith.
Pirates of the Caribbean. One of the most overrated blockbusters still lives on. They're making a number 4 and Gore Verbinski left for Bioshock. Still we have Jerry Bruckheimer making millions off of a once fresh series now a drowning mess of effects and stupidity.
Twilight saga. A ridiculously overrated book aimed at the soft spot in the hearts and sadly most of the soft brains of brainwashed tween fans all across the country. The first movie was ridiculous and underwhelming, but even that didn't resonate with the most enslaved group of twits I've ever seen for fans. This has ruined the scary in the word vampire.
I'm interested in hearing all of your comments or thoughts.
