In the craziest auteur director moment of the month we have a director whose films are so unique and against Hollywood yet he pulls a Hollywood and decides to remake his own movie. Well at least he can make a good film and since he's making his own movie's remake I wonder if he could actually make it better. He is one of the most inventive and better directors.
His last remake of the fly with Jeff Goldblum was a phenomenon and a huge success. I can't really imagine anyone else playing the lead role than Jeff Goldblum though, so it will be quite interesting to see what happens with this remake.
At least we know that David Cronenberg can make a good film, but i wonder if he can make it better.
