It looks decent when it comes to special effects, but I'm really hating the whole guilty or not guilty freddy. It makes him lose lots of his evil. Freddy isn't supposed to seem human, but rather a complete monster. this is what pisses me off about the remakes, they always attempt to bring horror farther than where it needs to be. Not every character needs a back story. freddy is supposed to be a psychotic child murderer who haunts dreams and murders through them without any remorse whatsoever. Now he seems like a burned man with sour grapes over being wrongfully executed. Well Hlaley seems to be good as Freddy, but his voice didn't resonate with me the same as Robert Englund's did probably because his was original. Oh well let's hope they didn't screw it up to bad.
