As to nobody's surprise new moon took the box office this week as the number one movie in America. Yes it set a new box office record by beating the Dark knight in it's opening day. luckily it didn't beat it for weekly gross in box office numbers. However, it's so sad that sometimes something so dumb and average can become a record breaker for one of the top three grossing movies of all time.
