Dunk Films - by Christopher Waldeck

Box office report

September 8th 2009 17:37
I have no idea who she is, but it's tyler Perry so we'll still watch it whether it's average or well average it never really changes.
Since we have about four potentialo hits coming to the box office this week. I decided that I'd discuss which one will be on top. We have the amazing looking 9, but from what I've heard behind all the animation lays a deeply flawed film. it currently hasd mixed reviews so I hope that it's at least decent because if it's not than it's a huge disappointment especially for who's involved with it. I'm still predicting that 9 will take the lead at the box office this weekend simply because of it's trailer and hype.

the animation is amazing

Next we have this weeks latest horror movie remake of Sorority Row which will most likely suck, but be a decent rainy day movie for hot girls and gore. What did you actually expect this movie to deliver on scares. i'm predicting this movie will at least make it in the top five maybe a the very bottom of the top five unless the people declare it stupid and just ignore it well at least it's low budget.

This picture is probably major spoiler the prodcuers just think they can fool us.

Then we have Tyler Perry's I can do Bad All by myself. well it's Tyler Perry and normally due to limited previews and hardly any advertising I'd say that this film would most likely bomb, however it's a Tyler Perry film and he has a huge fanbase so he probably doesn't need to much advertising. i'm predicting it will make it either in the top five or in sixth place.

Last but, not least we have whiteout. kate beckinsale is a huge draw as we've seen with underworld and many other of her mainstream films. She's a believable heroine so let's hope that this movie doesn't really suck, even though the trailer does. In fact the trailer doesn't even focus on the real plot of the movie it just shows them battling a CGI snow storm, and beckinsale in near nudity, as a draw. Really this film is about an agent searching for a serial killer in Antartica and they're trapped in the killer snow storm and she has to catch the killer and escape before she's trapped in the winter for the next rough season of weather. The comic book creators are realeasing a part three of the whiteout stories jsut before this film's release so hopefully this film is good and successful. I'm expecting a number three spot at least or greater depending on the buzz for the film.

Wendy's should use this poster to advertise for Frostys.
