Judging by the reviews I'd say that The Informant or cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs will be box office king. Both of the movies have had great reviews and adults who like the revamped Oceans Eleven trilogy will love the Informant. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs continues to prove why Vince McMahon caters to kids nowadays because that's where half of the money is at in box office receipts. Jennifer's Body will either make or fall just short of the top three.
Here are some more reasons.
The Informant is getting good reviews and Matt Damon in a comedy performance is always a good draw plus he's a phenomenal actor. Steven Soderberg is directing so you know the film will focus on quality over box office quantity, but still end up as a box office success. It also has Joel Mchale in it. I shouldn't have to say any more as to why this film will do well if not number one at the box office.
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. An awesome animated film which will draw the kids who are to scared to see 9. A movie based on a popular book. There are many reasons why this film will be good. Great reviews to attract film fanatics and in 3D.
Jennifer's Body. Teasing at Megan Fox being potentially nude even though she's just in pasties. She shares a brief lesbian scene, and catered to the badass chick genre. this film will do well amongst dark humor, Juno, and hot chick fans. I'm not sure if it's really horror, but it better be entertaining. Even though it has mixed reviews the film still seems interesting.
I'm predicting that The Informant will be number one.
