Box Office predictions

I don't need a crystal ball in order to guess what will be the number one movie in America this week. It's clearly predictable that District 9 will be the number one movie in America and hopefully the world. Everyone wants to see a good scifi movie and this film will deliver. some people say this film isn't blockbuster material or 100 million dollar success in America, but I say their wrong. This film has the low budget and the mystery of Cloverfield except much better and it doesn't have a director who's going to attempt to recreate foreign art horror like Let the Right One In for an American commercial audience. this film is science fiction art in general. I'm predicting that any movie like this movie can be a success if The Proposal could gross over 150 million then this film can too.
Bandslam the latest film from another High school Musical alumni. From what I've heard this film is actually good according to early critics. I don't know if anyone will take this movie seriously, but supposedly it's a great teen story. I just despise any critic that will take it upon themselves to compare this film to a John Hughes movie especially after his death. Well we'll see if another high school musical star can do better than an ABC family movie or appearing in Aliens in the Attic.
The Time Traveler's Wife. A love story that I believe is based on a book. It's unfortunate that this film lacks any real substance according to critics and when I read the plot it's blatantly clear that it lacks substance and had plot holes. Well as long as it's not overrated like any Twilight film I'll be all set.
The Goods Live Hard sell hard. All the rising comedians are about to see their futures trashed by appearing in this film if Monday Night Raw with Jeremy Piven and Dr. Kent was any indication of this film no Emmy or Golden Globe in the world will save the career of Jeremy Piven. One comedian in this has already trashed his career with Miss march does he really need to trash it again?
