Best films of the Summer so far

The Best films out this year before Transformers 2 are Up, Star Trek and Drag Me To Hell.
Up: Let's make this short. What are the odds that Pixar can't make a great film. They could make a three hour film about the adventures of a dotted line on a blank piece of paper and the film would still be a masterpiece. This film is not different. the voice acting is superb and the animation is extraordinary as always and it just leaves with me with this question: Can anyone beat Pixar? I don't believe that this film was a great as Wall E but its still the best and will remain the best film of the year for 2009.
Start Trek: This was considered by m,any to be the most unlikely success of the summer. When the trailers first cam out my first thought was good lord the enterprise is being run by a bunch of college freshman. I waited and waited and then I finally saw it on the big scree and it didn't disappoint like Terminator Salvation. The action was glorious, the effects were superb and it had a great plot and script to go along with it. It was a lights show with philosophy and I had a blast. Lets hope Star Trek 2 can be the next Dark Knight and completely blow our minds and become the best Star Trek sequel since the Wrath of Khan.
Drag me to hell: This film had everything that it should have had. I have never seen a horror film in a decade that stuck to the old roots better than this film. It had gore, gags and terror throughout. Sam Raimi proved that he is still a master of horror and he should be a mentor for all wannabe horror directors that think that remaking a film from Japan or any foreign country and americanizing it will be good. If this movie is any sign of the quality of Spiderman 4 then we should be ready for an awesome sequel. Now that we've seen that Raimi can still hang with the best in the business and still make us scream let's bring on the Evil Dead 4!
