Another foreign movie remake courtesy of Hollywood

I've been complaining about how Hollywood takes great movies from other countries and makes them into completely bastardized and shallow portraits of commercialism over artistic brilliance. Just ask the company the continues to remake every Japanese horror film that comes out. All of the original horror films nowadays appear to be Straight to DVD or wind up in the After Dark Horrorfest whether they're good or not.
I was heavily disappointed when they decided to direct a remake of Let the Right One in and change the plot and name to make it seem original, and have Cloverfield director matt reeves helm it. Alright so its better than your average choices for directors, but still the original was a work of art, but according to Hollywood anything artistic must be remade and incarcerated for a simple dollar which is still losing value. Does this really surprise anyone?
Now I get a chance to be even more disappointed and depressed than the world's only Uwe Boll fan as I watch the remake of Guillermo del Toro's produced the Orphanage. this was a great and original spooky ghost story that had real horror, heart and artistic value and then the academy awards snubbed it for a best foreign film award due to politics and the anti horror movement between the conservative academy. So instead of honoring this film with nomination they snub it like they did with Let the right One In and remake it and pretend its their own little child that they've conceived and trashed the birth records so know one will know their twisted and dark money whoring secrets. This is why the academy won't honor these films its because they know that they can use these films to remake them and avoid them having any special recognition so they're american sloppy copies will look better than their usual pieces of garbage horror remakes.
I'm tired of Hollywood having to steal ideas and make them worse because they think that people are more interested in watching American commercialism than true original art. However, it looks like it will never end because all the new so called horror fans will see Halloween 2 and think it's original without even seeing the actual original halloween 2. Most horror fans don't even remember the original halloween series before Rob Zombie. This is scary at how forgotten true horror has become.
