Christopher WaldeckA new writer and director has been confirmed for Halloween 3D.

According to sources on Bloody Disgusting and Dread central the director is going to be Patrick Lussier. He's the man who helmed the surprisingly very good remake of My Bloody Valentine and he made it in 3D. Well if the style of the movie changes I can't argue that this was a bad decision however, I'm tired of seeing Halloween remade over and over again, especially after Halloween 2, even though that seemed like a good way just to end the series.
The studio is going to be Dimension films who are producing this film. Also Todd farmer who wrote the My bloody valentine 3D script will be accompanying Patrick Lussier into Haddonfield. Let's just hope that this is actually a michael myers movie rather than a Season of the Witch. Actually i wouldn't mind if it was season Of the Witch because it could be remade with improvements, and not advertised as a Michael myers movie.
